The Photographic Portrait Prize 2006
Submissions are now being invited for this prestigious international photographic portrait competition, which celebrates and promotes the very best in contemporary portrait photography.
Entry is open to photographers from around the world, aged 18 or over. Photographers must ensure that their completed entry form, fee and photograph(s) are received at the London College of Communication no later than Friday 21 July 2006.
With its substantial prize fund of £20,000, including The Deloitte Commission of £5,000, and a high pro?le exhibition and tour, The Photographic Portrait Prize continues the National Portrait Gallery’s long tradition of championing the work of the best portrait photographers.
Last year over 2,000 photographers submitted work and the exhibition, which on average features sixty portraits, was seen by over 180,000 people in London alone.
